Medical Base Depot - (0 members)

The Medical Base Depot was responsible for the acquisition, stockpiling and distribution of medical supplies of the South African Medical Service. It was previously (pre 1979) known as Central Medical Stores (CMS) [Afr: Sentrale Arts Magasyn (SAM)] while part of the SA Army's Medical Corps and fell directly under the command of the Surgeon-General. After 1994 it was renamed to Military Health Base Depot, and formed an intergral part of the Military Health Support Formation of the SANDF.
