Eastern Transvaal Command

Find Another UnitBrief Description
Eastern Transvaal Command - (4 members)

Eastern Transvaal Command was one of ten regional commands, which, with the Walvis Bay Military Area, made up the Territorial Force. As in the case with the North Transvaal Command, it was also actually considered a theatre and therefore, unlike the other commands, had the responsibility for conventional operations within its area. It was commanded by a major-general, while the others were commanded by brigadiers.
