Group 26 Headquarters - (0 members)

The Group 26 Headquarters [Afr: Hoofkwartier, Kommandogroep 26] was established at Jagersfontein in 1969, as part of the Orange Free State Command, which was based in Bloemfontein. It had the following Commandos under command: Edenburg, Jacbsdal, Phillipolis, Rouxville, Smithfield, Wepener, Winburg, and Zastron. The group does not appear to have changed much during its existence and was finally closed down in 2003 after President Mbeki announced the disbanding of the commando system on 14th February 2003.
