| Killed in Action with two others when their Buffel Troop Carrier detonated a double boosted Yugoslavian TMA-3 Cheese Mine on the Epupa Road near the Epupa Falls in Southern Angola while escorting a convoy of Kwêvoël 100 trucks.They had stopped to wait for the convoy and every one unfastened their seatbelts and stood up inside the vehicle, when the Buffel slowly moved forward, setting of the undetected mine right in front of the vehicle. They were thrown out of the vehicle by the force of the explosion and the vehicle came crashing down un them, crushing them underneath. |
