Onsbok

The Onsbok was basically a French Panhard M3 which had its centrally mounted engine removed and a General Motors petrol engine mounted in the rear of the vehicle and was evaluated as a possible new Infantry Combat Vehicle for the SA Army in 1972. The code name of Onsbok is derived from Our Buck (Onsbok) and Their Buck being the original French M3
